bayley held her first ice cream cone yesterday...how exciting!!!
this little girl is picking up things left and right
she seemed to enjoy the cone itself better than the ice cream which lent itself to a much less messier treat after all.
so i'm trying to think of what to write about for the next 4 minutes because i hear a stirring bebe about to start saying "mamamama " "mimimi" that either quickly turns into a happy and inquisitive "mama??" "dada??" as she sits up or a long ever so sad "maaaaaaaaaaaaaamaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!"
and either way, in less than 10 seconds she ends up being the happiest 1 year old ever when she sees her mama and dada greet her
she loves mornings and her mama is even growing to love them too
it usually starts off with some conversing about what we're going to do and pointing out many things around the house like "kitty-kitty" (major fascination and love for anything furry these days) sometimes daddy will blow bubbles or we turn on elmo and there's always breakfast which almost always consists of oranges from great grandmas tree and maybe some oatmeal or french toast
mornings are fun and fresh and i love the feeling of having the entire day ahead of me....
our little monkey is up!!! let the day begin!!!
The moment when you first wake up in the morning is the most wonderful of the twenty-four hours. No matter how weary or dreary you may feel, you possess the certainty that, during the day that lies before you, absolutely anything may happen. And the fact that it practically always doesn't, matters not a jot. The possibility is always there. ~Monica Baldwin
