HS-4 Holiday party
Bayley was so good and after the party Adam took us out to our favorite Italian restaurant, Old Venice-yummy. It was a very nice date for 3 : ) There was childcare setup at the party, but Adam decided he wasn't ready for that and I have decided that I will never be ready for that. No childcare/daycare for this baby, why would we want to be without her???!!!
A new President, a new stomach, a new way to fall asleep
Welcome Mr. President Obama! I am just getting over a horrible stomach virus after about 4 days. Thank goodness my Mom, Adam and Auntie Sarah took care of Bayley and I. Bayley has fallen asleep the past 2 days in her swing rocking her baby doll to sleep, it's the cutest thing!! She can't stop trying to eat the little straps that hold her in so I put her doll on her lap to cover them up and sure enough she was asleep in seconds. She is so darn cute and so smart and so interested in everything!!! -it's a new world

Holistic health
Today I went to see my acupuncturist and Bayley came along and got a free mini session. Not acupuncture, but some craniosacral therapy. She had a slightly mishapen head at birth due to my fibroid (we think) Craniosacral therapy is a very light form of massage/manipulation done on the head/neck to free any restrictions and keep cerebral spinal fluid flowing efficiently. She was happy and smiling through her whole session. I had an amazing acupuncture session and had some cupping done for my back/neck pain. I feel so much better, it's like a miracle. I love chinese medicine.
"Worms will not eat living wood where the vital sap is flowing; rust will not hinder the opening of a gate when the hinges are used each day. Movement gives health and life. Stagnation brings disease and death."- proverb in traditional Chinese Medicine

Happy 7 months Bayley!!!
I can't believe you are 7 months old today
I feel like I just wrote your 6 month old post
And I didn't think it was possible
but I love you even more, every time I look at your sweet face.
You are growing so fast right before our eyes
you are sitting up on your own
you are eating solid foods like a little piggy
sweet potatoes and apple/blueberries are your favorites
you are spitting, yelling, babbling, blowing bubbles, grabbing hair/noses/cheeks
waving your arms in the air, dancing, splashing, giving hugs (well Mom got one)
belly laughing, smiling all the time and most important...
being the sweetest, bestest, smartest, most beautiful baby I could ever ask for.
I love you with all my heart and soul Bayley
Love and kisses, Mommy
