Bayley is 10 weeks old today

Bayley went to the beach and Sea World this past week with family visiting from Oregon. We all had so much fun!!! She also had her 2 month check up at the doctor's and is doing great!!! She weighs 9lbs. 8oz. and is 22in. I can't believe how big she is getting.

My Husband

I have the most incredible husband in the world and right now he's traveling around the world!!!! Not only is he smart, handsome, incredibly kind and a wonderful human being.....he is deployed serving our country on the U.S.S. Ronald Reagan kicking some serious booty!!!! He is working so hard, I honestly don't know how ge does it..working 12-15 hour days on the flightdeck in ridiculous temperatures....ugh. He was awardrd a NAM (Navy achievement medal) this year for going above and beyond his call of duty and basically saving some lives. He was given another award for humanitarian efforts in the Phillipines and now he is off to hunt pirates!!!!!!! Good job sweetheart and thank you for everything you do for us. We love you heart and soul, more than anything. Be safe and come home soon to your girls, you are missed more than you know. You are in our thoughts and prayers always : ) XOXO

when you're having fun!!! I can't believe it's been 2 months already!!! I love being a Mommy to this sweet baby girl!!! This is the best job in the whole world!!! I love my Bayley so much, happy 2 month birthday!!

WOG day!!!

So my Husband is no longer a WOG!!! It's Navy tradition that when they cross the equator all of the people who have crossed before "Shellbacks" put the people who haven't crossed "Wogs" thru a kind of initiation. So now Adam is a Shellback : ) He looks cute even covered in nasty green goo!!! We love you Adam!!!!

One of the happiest days of my life!!!!

Bayley had to stay in the NICU for 8 days after she was born since she was about a month early. Although that is a very short stay and she was doing fine, those were the longest 8 days of my entire life!!! The day she came home was better than Christmas morning times a million. I was really nervous but so ecstatic at the same time. She was so tiny, only weighed 5 pounds 1 ounce. I am so very grateful for how everything turned out. We have a beautiful, healthy baby girl!!!!!

Bayley Liberty-Ann Bernardi

Bayley was a little early coming into this world. She was born June 14th, 2008 and weighed 5lbs.8oz. and was 17 inches long. She is doing fantastic, she's not quite 2 months and now weighs 8lbs. 12oz. go Bayley!!!! She is such a good baby and loves her baths and stroller rides.

Bayley is starting to smile now and it's not just gas!!!! I haven't been able to capture it in a picture yet but soon I should get one!!! I wish I could strap a camera to my forehead!!!

A big thank you to my Mom!!!

First of all I need to give a huge thank you to my Mom!!!!! If it weren't for her I would be an emaciated, emotionally spent sliver of a woman stuck under a huge pile of laundry and dishes!!! She has been here helping us no matter the time or place or circumstance. She drove me to the NICU every 3 hours to feed Bayley for 4 days straight after I had a c-section. She's made me countless yummy dinners, bought me groceries, and kept me well nourished. She has and still is doing ALL of our laundry(how lucky am I)!!!! She stays over and watches Bayley so I can shower and eat. Most importantly she has been here for every last question, concern and emotional breakdown. Bayley and I are so very lucky to have her as a Mom and Grandma. Thanks Mom from the bottom of our hearts.

Okay I'm back

I've been putting off blogging because by the time Bayley and I got home from the hospital I'd already taken 300 pics of her, then I got the stomach flu.....now it's up to 683 pics so I have some blog catching up to do. My house is semi-clean, she is sleeping, I'm not hungry and the cat is taken care of. This is the first time this has happened since she's been born. Adam come home soon!!!!! So where do I begin......
